The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa's
Eastern Cape Branch - Regional Waste Management Conference for 2017!

Theme: “Green is the new Gold”

Waste management is one of the most significant challenges facing the Eastern Cape as a province. We need to remain committed to tackling this problem effectively.

Waste and pollution pose a serious threat to human health and the integrity of the environment. Everyone has a role to play in waste management and our 2017 Regional Waste Management Conference will provide you with the opportunity to stay informed on the topic.

The event will take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on 02 August 2017. The stadium currently engages in numerous green initiatives such as the Urban Raptor project and water purification systems on site, which delegates will have the opportunity to experience.

Meet inspiring speakers and experts as they discuss exciting topics such as Legislation, Local Greening Efforts, Green Building, and Municipal Progress.

Join us at this great conference as we discuss pertinent issues around waste management strategies and network with like-minded people.
